Immanuel God With Us

immanuel God with us“The birth of Jesus Christ came about this way…”, is how the Nativity story begins in Matthew 1:18.This one statement points to the Incarnation, by combining the human name — Jesus, with the title Christ. Jesus Christ is both God and man. Later, in verse 23, the word Immanuel is used, which in Hebrew means”God with us.”
I am so glad that we serve a personal God who loved the world enough to become like us, so that He could show us the face of the Father. His love is so great that He died for the sins of mankind, so that we might choose Him and receive eternal life.Salvation through Jesus the Christ is the greatest gift we could ever receive.
