Election Week is finally here and the politician’s, promises, protracted comments, and promotions will be ending. Over the last few months our air waves and media outlets have been filled with the pledges of candidates propagating their positions. And soon it will end and the real work begins.
The real work is for these candidates to quit talking and to start performing. The issues we face that government can address are huge and want be solved overnight.
As Believers our job is to pray and support whichever candidate is elected into national, state or local offices. The Scripture is clear that we are to be law –abiding and praying for those in authority. In the coming days, let’s resolve to lift up our governing officials and to be united as a nation and community to seek the good of men, justice for all , help for the orphan and widowed, free the oppressed and declare that the Day of the Lord is here!
Glad that God Elected Each of Us into His Kingdom,
“For God So Loved the World…”
